I've watched the tapes several times and I just don't see it. Plus, the Spurs have the lowest number of personal fouls in the NBA. Your thoughts?

It's called playing hard defensively. Amare wouldn't know that because he doesn't play defense.

When I looked at the tapes in slo-mo, it appeared that Bowen first looked at Amare's leg, THEN swung his foot at it. It definitely made contact, both Bowen and Amare admit that. Determining intent? That's hard, but since Bowen looked first I'd tend to think it more likely that there was intent to try to step on Aare's heel to prevent the dunk.

Stoudemire's just talking out of his ***. He doesn't play defense all he wants to do is get up the floor and slam the ball home. Bowen plays defense yes some people have called him dirty some people have gotten upset about it. But there is one thing that Bowen gets and that is respect for his defense. Whether you like it or not he plays hard he can shut down the games best scorers and get under their skin. Just the way Dennis Rodman did.

I think Bowen is pesky and dirty If other players have spoke out on the same player like ray allen and kobe I think he is dirty but he is a good defender and Amare makes millions suck it up *****

Bowen is dirty. He's just really sneaky about it, thinking that no one will notice. He knows what he is doing. He's had incedents with Kobe, Ray Allen, Vince Carter, Steve Francis, Jamal Crawford, Wally Szczerbiak, and now Amare Stoudamire. I don't think its all a coincidence. It all has to do with him sticking that foot out. Check YouTube, and see all the videos for proof.

Thats Bowen M.O. and it has been for some time. The guy is a dirty player and players have made those claims before. He is know for getting under a player during their jumpshot. Many guys have sprained ankles because of Bowen.

bowen is a dirty player. and whats a shame is that stern will not do anything about it. he talks about cleaning the game up, he missed a spot. if i was in the nba, i would throw bowen a nice elbow to the jaw. maybe he will clean his game up then

Gosh I really never hear stat complain often I think that Bowen should calm it a little before he really injures someone and puts his career in jeopardy.
