I only liked two songs Sweden and Russia, but that is normal for Euro vision, and they were voting for countries last time, Terry predicted it would be the same.
I don't know what Britain, Ireland, France, Belgium could do to win, now we have so many new members.
FOR AMERICANS The Eurovision song contest, where different countries with (the expanded) Europe compete with one song from each qualifiing country, some countries, such as Britain, get automatic qualification to take part, these are the countries which founded it.
Britain got nil point last time, and just 19 points this time.

I am ashamed to say I watched it. Most of the music is manufactured, and most countries just vote for their neighbours.
As for the UK song, I am surprised anyone voted for it at all (I think the votes must have been given out of pity). Couldn't we have sent anyone better. Why do we just keep on trying to re-invent bucks fizz!
The only thing worth listening to in the whole show were Terry's comments....as usual!

I could never take Eurovision seriously - it is hilarious. It's ALWAYS been a farce. It's only fit for a good laugh, in my opinion... and that comes from listening to Wogan's drunken sarcastic commentary!
The last decent song in it was Johnny Logan's Hold Me Now, back in 1987.

Yes I agree. It was a sheer waste of time. The songs were awful....the music even worse and that stupid blonde needed to be booted off of the screen. She seemed to think that she was Gods gift to mankind when she looked like a painted hooker.

Me and my missus were a bit drunk and ended up watching Eurovision.
I agree that it is truly terrible, but it's not so bad when viewed through a slight alcoholic haze.
Which act had the red tree with the toilet roll in it? That was class.

Absolute rubbish, but compelling watching. They vote politically depending who has pissed them off the most in the past year or so, mind you, the UK has fairly taken a bashing since the Iraq invasion.

Yeah, it has nothing to do with music anymore, they should just skip the songs and do the votes to save time.
