After the so called download is done, the bar just keeps cycling instead of bringing up the install screen.

Suddenly suggests that something has changed.

Did you install new software? Did you make changes to your computer or operating system? Did you add or remove any software or hardware? Did you change internet providers?

Figure out what changed just before the suddenly part, and you can fix this by undoing whatever you did.

Im not sure but Im guessing you upgraded your pc to Windows Vista. Same thing happened to me. When you install vista, it gives you 2 options to either keep the same files from XP. Do not do that, just pick the other option to erase everything and install vista.

That's not very much info to go on.

Did you change something recently? Check your Internet security settings, firewall, activeX controls, java settings...???

Are you getting any messages; from your explorer, the website, anti-virus program, anti spyware program, firewall?

Do you know how to do a restore?
Restore puts your puter back to a state in the past, up to a week or so. Try that.
