Hypnotizing people is relatively easy, however, you should not do so if you don't know what to do next. If you really want to know, I suggest you attend a course and become certified. One of the best sources to find a legitimate school is the National Guild Of Hypnotists (see website below)

Focus them on a task which requires little thought and has a monotonous quality: television, factory labor, shopping, etc.
