Colorado by far. No hurricanes. Thjis last winter was very unusual for snowfall in Denver, but it is dry weather too. Much more appealing. Pretty good job market in both, I would say Denver. The Rockies blow away the Smokies.

It depends on what you are looking for. Denver is less humid so their summers are not as hot as North Carolina. I live in Raleigh and have lived here a year. We had a very mild winter with one inch of snow which is ok by me but Denver will give you plenty of winter and snow and lots of it. Of course you have mountains in Denver but you also have mountains in Asheville, NC. You are close to the ocean if you like that but you are not in Colorado. It is much more expensive to live in Colorado. My son's friend pays $1,000 a month for a two bedroom average apartment. I pay about 600 for the same thing.

Colorado, no humidity, 300+ days of sunshine no rainy days, just t-storms in the spring and summer in the PM. that pass through like a greasy burger

well i live in Colorado and you could not ask of any other place to live we have the mountains,the 4 seasons winter spring summer and fall so you have it all and its most beathiful,all seasons i know in carolinias its warmer but its much better here.
