Rebooting a computer just means to restart the computer. In Windows XP you would click Start > Turn Off Computer > Restart.

check the front of your PC for a small button below the start button it's smaller than it so not always easy to see mine's is just below the power light most computers have a reboot button on there somewhere. so have a good scan for it.

click on start>turn off computer and when the little window pops up click on the green restart button.

try this

i would try
1 - turn on monitor
2 - turn on computer
3 - constantly tap f8 - located at top of your key board
4 - when new screen comes up - use up and down arrows also on your key board to high light last know good configuration hit enter on key board
5 - windows should start or it will give options on how to start windows

click start...click turn off pc then a little box comes up... saying stand by... turn off..restart....click retasrt...it another name for reboot.. :-D
If it that bad...keep kicking it lol.. (reboot) hehehe
