Read "Stranger in a Strange Land" by Heinlein. I loved it at your age. Some other good books:
The Stand -- King
Brave New World --- Huxley
Gone with the Wind --- Mitchell
The Handmaid's Tale --- Atwood
Pride & Prejudice -- Austen
A Princess of Mars -- Burroughs

Although I LOVE Laurell K. Hamilton's books, I think the person who recommended them wasn't paying attention to your age. They are too erotic for a 15 year old. A better option in the same genre for your age would be the Tanya Huff books. The romance isn't as sexually explicit and the vampire is an EXTREMELY interesting character.

Anything by Jane Austen is great. She has 6 finished novels and 3 unfinished. If you like fantasy/adventure, I recommend Green Rider by Kristen Britain. The Hobbit is also a good choice. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte is another great classic, as is Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.

Those are just a few of the books that I enjoyed at that age, I hope it helps.

Go to Amazon.com and search:
"Lost from Atlantis Book 1" - Book 2 is going to be out in the next 6 weeks or so, Book 3 is written and in editing and will be out sometime in the next few months.
"Death by MURDER David Lindsay" - you have to search that way or it won't come up. There's lots of sex in that one.
"Super Spaghetti"
And the best part is, for now, they're all FREE. You can read them with Kindle Unlimited - if you don't have Kindle Unlimited Google how to get a free trial, and all those books are free. They can be read online, with a free Kindle phone app, or on a Kindle.

Ishmael by Daniel Quinn is a good start. Read it slow and do a lot of reflecting.

Also try 1984 by George Orwell

Also try J.D. Salinger's, Catcher In The Rye. Also try Nine Stories. It's a good one.

ooh! im 15 too and i LOVE to read! i would definately reccomend these fiction mystery novels by Joanne Fluke. They are about Hannah Swenson, who runs a cookie shop called the cookie jar. She repeatidly finds bodies in every book and solves murders. there is even a touch of romance in each book, but nothing gross. here is her website:
www.murdershebaked.com
I also reccomend the Alex Rider series, which you may have already read. its about a teen boy who is like a kid james bond. he has all these cool gadgets that are disguised like ipods, retainers, etc, and they are really action packed! website:

Hope this helps!

Life of Pi

A Million Little Pieces (graphic)

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Series (3 books)

Hm, that's all I can think of now. Good luck finding something to read, and it's great that you love to read. You will need that love in college when you have to read a lot!
