I'm afraid of questions on Yahoo! answers asking me what I am afraid of. As I type this, I am hiding under the bed.
Really, I am afraid of heights and not fulfilling my purpose in life. And clowns. Clowns are down right spooky.

Spiders.
Velociraptors.
That I'll go to take a swig from the milk jug and get a mouthful of squishy milk.
The crazy guy on the corner waving the sign for the Verizon store because he's just a little too into his job.
That gravity will suddenly stop.
That something horrible will happen to my kids and I will be powerless to stop it.
That everyone will discover I'm a fraud.
Girls who wear leg warmers.

snakes ,spiders any creepy little bug. I have been known to run over small children to get away from a spider.

I'm afraid of falling down the damn stairs my wife had carpeted. Our daughter and her friends use cardboard as a sled and slide down the thing. I've alreday gone down it on my Butt, once---without cardboard or thought of sliding.
There ain't nothing quite as humiliating as being an old man with an ice pack on his butt.
