I try to do a little of both. I want to be happy and will do what I need to be happy, but I also try to fit that in with what others want.

I do as I please, so long as it doesn't harmfully impact others.
But then again, I also do as others tell me to in order to make someone happy and, as a result, get the favor returned to me.
Basically, I guess I balance each of the two.

if what they tell me to do pleases me, i wont mind doing it, i am compromising soul a people pleaser so to speak, and if i have enough to do things for them, i think thats awesome to be at service sometimes.

I was selling wood. A guy drove up and asked" do you take orders for wood"? I told him " Sir I sell wood, I don't take orders from anyone ".
