They will let you carry them as long as your body is able and will sometimes let you go into labor naturally (if both babies are vertex and able to deliver vaginally). Usually twins deliver a few weeks earlier than a single pregnancy, the goal is to reach 36-37 weeks instead of 40.

If you are like me, then 6 weeks before your due date. So when you are about 34 weeks. I am in the same situation, I'm 22 weeks pregnant with identical twins also and there are doing the same with me. FYI, you should be seeing a high risk doctor aside from you OBGYN

As long as each twin continues to grow well, there is no reason why you cannot carry them through to the end of your pregnancy (40 weeks) and go into labor naturally without induction or a c-section.

I think in most cases twin babies usually come on their own anywhere from 28-32 weeks gestation. But doctors try to keep them in the womb for as long as possible.

as long as there is no health risks/crisises for you or the babies you will carry to term usually about 40weeks. docs want the babies in you as long as possible safely thats why you need to keep all your dr appointments & do all the right stuff to help you & the babies, good luck

hmm that is a good question...I would do a google or yahoo search on that...ONLY because each pregnancy is different...so the best answer you might be able to come up with is a "best guess" but this is something that I believe even your doctor won't be able to tell you or have control over.

Best wishes!!!
