I'm not exactly sure what kind of answer you are looking for. What exactly are you supposed to do with it? somehow I doubt any teacher would just write that on the board and say "what is the answer?"

If n = degrees Fahrenheit than this would appear to be an equation for converting Fahrenheit to Celcius. This equation is wrong however. The correct euqation should be:

[°C] = ([°F] − 32) · 5/9

To calculate C you need a value for n.
Let n = 50 for argument sake.
C = 0.6 x 50 + 4
C = 30 + 4
C = 34

the celsius-fahrenheit conversion looks like this

°C = (°F − 32) ÷ 1.8
