By saying that we are sinking to their level when they have sunk to the lowsest possible level .? What about the rights of the victims and families Have they no HUMANE rights ?

Are we going back to death penalty thing again...I'm with you all the way there flower, if the sentence actually fit the crime it would certainly sort this country out. A colleague of mine lost her daughter in a hit a run, the guy was found, he was a smack head, no licence, tax or insurance and he killed her on a crossing as she walked across holding her mums hand when the lights were on red and he got 4 lousy years and served 2....what is the point!!

I don't believe they all do. You should rephrase your question in the spirit of polls and surveys " Do people support murderers on yahoo?" and then perhaps you will find out. I do not. I believe in the rights of victims and their families.

some people on here are thoughtless and uncaring and if it carries on this way i dont think i will come back. Iv had enough, rude is rude but outright judgement of people is too much. Can be quite upsetting and im not even a sensitive person.

i don't know. i imagine that there are sick people on here just like out there in the world. it is such a travesty when i hear something bad like that sort of thing. some people just do not have any respect for human life. you just never know about anyone anymore. good luck.

Victims and families don't matter to people, I think they should, but apparently they aren't important enough...

I dont support murderers! I can't understand why they are put in open prisons and old grannies who don't pay their poll tax get sent to a closed prison.

i dont i feel if u kill someone u should loose ur human rights. i would give them the death pen or leave it up to the family of the members killed to deal with it.
