It's not polite to talk during any movie. Silent would probably even less polite because your talking would be more audible.

yes it's like the opposite of being silent during talking movies, your just adding your own dialogue.

Not if youre sitting right behind me. I think it's an Australian tradition,though, to talk in the movies, send text messages on your cell phone, and aim jaffas at the head of the person 5 rows in front of you.
