4x - 3y = 24

- 3y = 24 - 4x

3y = 4x - 24

3y = 4(x - 6)

y = (4/3)(x - 6)
.

4x-3y=24 can't be factored because in order to factor there has to be an x^2 or a common factor which there isn't

Robert L. basically has the correct answer except he forgot to divide the 3 all the way through. y = (4/3)( y-6/3)
y= (4/3) (y/3-2)
