I can't understand why My Mom, Sister & all my girlfriends
wear short shorts all summer long. I hate shorts and I never wear them, I wear jeans & sweatpants in the summer.
I have good looking shapely legs , I just think shorts make you look kinda of slutty. My Mom is always trying to get in me into a pair of shorts and people are always like OMG it's so hot out Y R U not wearing shorts. bluh bluh etc. Today we had a street party and every girl and women was wearing short shorts but me. Why are they all wearing them short shorts. ? what is it about wearing them ?

A few years back I stopped wearing long pants in the warmer months. Usualluy from April to November I only wear shorts or capris.
Really there is no big deal, wear what you want.
As far as looking slutty that is taking it too far. If you have a high level of self respect and command that others respect you as well, then you can be very sexy without being slutty. Part of being a slut is not in what you wear but how you present your personality.

u said short shorts make u look slutty, thats the reason some people wear them. some people just wear them because its really hot outside. i would but i hate my legs.

Shorts help keep you cooler, that's pretty much about it.
They are cute too, I bought myself two pairs of shorts to wear around the house and to sleep in, with this heat wearing pants and jeans constantly is just too much.

if its hot outside then dont cover it up with layers of fabric
also some people are proud of thier legs
thier not slutty unless you wear daisy duke shorts or something.

hmmm.
i love shorts. all i can say is try to wear them a few times. you dont have to wear super short ones either. bermuda shorts are super cute and stylish, plus they cover up a lot.

im like 10 and im not alowed to wwear short shorts, only with leggings though and to the beach. I wear bemudas . i guess people think its that hot. I think it makes u look like you wanna show off your legs

We wear them becuz its SOOOO hot out it's only normal 2 switch your clothes and not wear winter clothes while its 92 outside.
I'm wearing short shorts right now haha! lol.

if you think that short shorts/ or just shorts are sluty then you must think that mini dresses,skirts,bermudas and swim suits are sluty too.
i don't think it is sluty because of the heat during the summer and people want to stay cool

ummm maybe becuz its hot?? and they dont want 2 wear sweats and jeans..and besides they are comfortable even if they are short..!!!

becuz its hot, they want to show off their legs, etc...
u can wear longer shorts, that r almost capris!! they'll look great!!!
