Getting drunk to deal with life is like putting a tournequet on a cut artery. It may stop the bleeding momentarily but then you end up with a worse problem if you dont fix the cause. When you get drunk you are hurting yourself physically also running away FROM your problems instead of being an adult and DEALING with them.Your sorrows will STILL be there after you sober up so its always a temporary fix.Which lead to a lifelong addiction if you arent carefull.Get some counseling, going to church helps(try the United Pentecostals, theyre great!) and ;earn to deal with your sorrows,I know it's painfull but look at all the problems associated with getting drunk and your sorrows are still there.

Why do people think it's a great idea to give drunks coffee?

Then you just have a wide awake pi**ed up git on your hands instead of a snoring one!

Carry on drinking the beer!

You should never drown your sorrows in beer. It is a deppressant and will only make you feel WORSE. No one wants to feel bad, let alone worse.

Stay sober, pamper yourself, do something nice for yourself until you feel better.

Grieving is important, don't deprive yourself of if but don't sulk for too long. Keep doing regular activities and soon you will feel better again.

HUGS!

Stay drunk. It'll be better for everyone. If you sober up you'll hate it, and so will everyone else. If your sorrows were bad enough to make you want to drown them, what makes you think they'll have got better by now?
