Personally I wouldn't use ammonia because it's too close in smell to urine.....we might not be able to smell it, but the dog might!

There are enzyme cleaners on the market just for urine. Available in grocery stores as well as pet shops. They work fine. In the mean time use club soda and facial tissue. Tissues are the most absorbent paper product, far better than paper towels. Flood the site with club soda and start blotting......Ok, you can use paper towels to get the major amount out, but then switch to facial tissues. When you get the enzyme cleaner go back over the spot again, just to be sure. NOW, if the smell remains, it's in the carpet padding or worse, the floor underneath. You can cut the carpet back (like a flap) and remove the padding and replace with a section from the closet floor. Also check the subfloor. If it is stained and you can't get the smell up, paint with Kilz. Use carpet tape to put down the mat patch and more tape to secure the cut carpet. Just like new.

Oxyclean products are hyrogen peroxide......yeah, that might work. Try it first in an inconspicuous spot to see if it removed color........it shouldn't.

Well I don't know if u have a shampooer or not or carpet cleaner but if you do Amonia ,and water 4 ounces first time with warm water no amonia just cold water 3 times after . I did just that today dog pee off a friend I am staying withs daughters room . It works Later to get rid of the smell if you'd like cause me personally I can't stand amonia but its the only thing is as potent as urine . Later go over it with pinesol and maybe a bit of regular shampoo 4 carpets but to avoid toxic fumes wait a few days b4 using pinesoll Try the scented one. . Use febreeze aeresol or put some pinesol in a spray bottle .I know this sounds like a lot but actually its quite simple.AND REST ASURE YOUR CARPET WONT LOSE COLR JUST YUCKY DIRT GRIME AND NO DOUBT PEE.

I 2d the character's Miracle. got here across it whilst my canine became right into a pup and she or he had diverse injuries on the carpet. different issues like baking soda and vinegar in basic terms mask the smell. attempt to p.c.. up as plenty liquid as you could if it is carpet. the wonderful way i got here across is to place a paper towel on the urine, upload somewhat folded newspaper, and then step on it. relatively some the liquid would be absorbed into the paper. THEN, spray with Nature's Miracle.

Use Simple Solution. It's designed to clean this stuff up and remove the stains. This is especially for pet messes and it has worked for me. It also has a pleasant, clean fragrance that is very light.
