Remember, Political Correctness is about public expression or self-censorship, if you edit what you say aproprieately, you can be as PC as the next guy without actually changing what you think. It's rather like being 'polite' in Vitorian society. You could perform perverted sex acts with your mistress, for instance, as long as you didn't talk about it.

Calling civility political correctness was a huge mistake. It made it sound like there is a government mandate on how people should address subjects and people. Like their entire lives should be run by political agenda. Its no wonder that a huge segment of our population doesn't pay any attention to politics or even vote.

Diversity is another term that should have been covered by already existing terminology used to describe the population of the U.S. which has always been diverse. It just makes me suspicious of the government and their agenda. Whether you want to be politically correct or not is entirely up to you.
