Why won't VMK connect to the server? It was working earlier today. But now the screen just turns black.?

The game window opens and it starts loading but it won't connect to the server. One of the times i tried it it sayed to check the firewall settings. so i turned off the firewall. the screen just turns black still. What do I do?

When you say VMK, do you mean KVM (ie Keyboard, Video and Mouse)? or do you mean Disney's Virtual Magic Kingdom?
