You won't be like this forever, i promise. At the time it seems like it will never end but keep repeating to yourself "this too shall pass." When you see your doctor on the 22nd he'll probably prescribe you some medicine that will help. Until then get out and do something, i know its hard and you practically have to drag yourself from your bed but get atleast an hour of exercise a day, and SUN. Sun and exercise play a big part in mental health so get out there and go for a walk, you'll feel much better after, it will relax you and release some of your pent up adernaline. When you get down in the dumps pop in a good movie or read a book, call a friend. Don't sit there and dwell on it either that just makes it worse. Go to borders and get some relaxation CDs and a book about anxiety and depression, the more you know about it the better off you will be. And keep away from thought like "im never going to be the way i used to be" this only makes the whole situation even more overwhelming, just remember "this too shall pass." Take a few deep breaths and start doing something else, get your mind off it. goodluck and take care.

If your happy one minute and sad the next and think of suicide you might be bipolar. You really should ask your doctor or go to a physcologist like you are, but tell them you really need to see them, for emergencies they will. If they dont get a new one.

I like all of the answers so far. Trust me - you will get better if you follow the doctors/therapists. You brain will tell you that you're not getting better, but don't listen.
I had an elderly aunt who became severely depressed and stopped talking, stopped eating, and stopped drinking water. With the help of good medical care - she came back to her normal self. She could remember that she didn't talk or eat, but she couldn't remember why she didn't . The brain will play tricks on you.
Just my 2 cents - but good luck. Help is out there.

I wouldn't have melancholy or schizophrenia, however i do endure from anxiousness. Marijuana for me does alleviate my anxiousness. You are too younger to be smoking, nonetheless. Your mind remains to be constructing and marijuana has over four hundred chemical compounds in it; a few would viable restrict mind progress. It turns out like you may have many intellectual disorders and the final that that you just wish to do is find a drug like weed to manage with them. You want a lot more than weed it sound like. There needs to be greater possible choices available in the market if you want to support you greater than weed ever would.

Thisa sounds simplistic, but it works. Write down the things you like to do, or used to like to do if you don't like anything now. Plan on doing these things and do them. Easier said than done, but the less you do, the worse you'll feel. When it comes time to do things and you don't feell like it, do it anyway.
