Well sleep or look for things it is a game in my car called find it call it here is what you do you get people in the car to look for items like

Tire
Pink Truck
That is a fun game

listen to music, watch a movie if you have a dvd player, bring a video game with you, sing to songs on the radio, write down weird license plates, eat candy, take a nap, do a word puzzle, pass gas then blame it on someone else, talk to friends on your cell phone, bring your pet with you, play with your hair, chew gum ,etc
