Can anybody help me with a simple method for making a dragon fly costume for a 5 year old?

I would buy a green or blue jumpsuit, glitter glue it, and dye some of those fairy wings you can buy at stores like Party Plus to match the jumpsuit. You could also buy a blue mask, like the kind for masquerade balls, or make one out of construction paper and more glitter glue.

Better Homes ans Gardens has instructions for a child's dragonfly costume. They tell you what you need to construct it. It's cute. The child modeling it looks to be about 5. Check their web site.

All i know is that to make wings you can get hangers and unwind them and shape them into wings and then put a nylon over it. You can decorate it with sparkles or something after.

i was a fashion student i will help... go to some kind of fabric store or even wal mart and buy the pattern and the ladies will help you pick the fabric out the wings you have to buy seperately. i couldd tell you how to sew it too if you read th instructions to the pattern to me.
