I'm about sick of the Bush/Cheney administration !!! this is outrageous !!!...what's your opinion ?

The so-called missing cash went into the Iraqi economy. Whether they went for payoffs of local Sunni, Shitte, or Secularist groups, we will never know or have a paper trail of the missing monies. Monies also went into Iraq, thus propping up the U.S. dollar so that it would be the currency of trade. The U.S. wanted to guarantee that the dollar will have hegemony over the competing Euro. This is one of the reasons why the U.S. wanted to get into Iraq. And, you can bet for the same reasons Iran will be next on the agenda.
As for the missing oil, I suspect that crude is being auctioned off as a payout either by the U.S., or leveraged to buy cooperation with the competing warring factions. Again, no accountability. Keep in mind that one of the other reasons the U.S. went to war with Iraq was because of the illegal oil for food scams that were reported. The case in point, where did U.S. forces go immediately into after the initial invasion ended. The Museum of Antiquities and The Oil Ministry! You can bet Bob Dole was greatly relieved! Indeed, the Oil Ministry had an extensive paper trail.
My opinion? I'm practically catatonic with anger over the corruption and greed at the expense of our U.S. servicemen and women whose lives are being wasted on the battlefield!

Smuggling, Saddam had secret oil lines pumping to another countries, still there, the Iraq government is corrupt, a mafia style, they sell the oil under the table for good $$'s.. That government was Bush selection, they're all in the oil business, millionaires, billionaires, we pay 4 bucks a gallon of gas..âº

I have been sick of the bush administration for a LONG time. However, I haven't read any articles about a connection between them and the missing oil yet.

I concur that the Bush-Cheney administration is incompetent, irresponsible, and corrupt - but where did you get the information that "billions in Iraq crude oil" is "unaccounted for"?? I haven't heard that (although it wouldn't surprise me). -RKO- 05/12/07

Bush and Cheney don't care. All they know is they're out of office after 2008. They got money. They'll go to their ranch or whatever and shoot some bird or old men. They don't care who owe how much what where.
