Too commercial, too much trouble, too expensive, too sad?

No. My mother died last summer, but my sisters are mothers, and so are my two surviving aunts. I got cards for them all--including my mother. I'm putting the card for my mother on top of the piano in the living room.

Not as long as I have a family, I won't give up on that holiday. It is nice to have Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc.

If anything happened to all of them and I was alone, I think I would take that day to go someplace to do something just for me.

I am from Costa Rica and over there Mother's Day is August 15th, so I don't feel like celebrating it tomorrow.

No, but i do have this piece of advice, thank God you still have a mother on this mother's day to share your life with. Mine died in 1995, and I miss her dearly.
