Why does President Bush refuse to give our troops the funding and equipment that they so desperately need to get the job done in order to complete the mission?

Its sad isnt it? He would rather play politics with the funding then support the troops.

because there is a part of the bill that also requires a timetable for withdraw.
and bush cant line item veto so he has to nix the whole thing.

Because the dems are padding the bill with pork and putting stipulations on the money trying to over ride the commander in chief. The dems are purposefully making bills he will veto.
