My guess is she'll do some of the time, but get let out early. I definitely don't think the sentence is harsh, she's so spoiled that it might humble her a little bit to be in jail.

i sure hope she goes to jail because that's the only time she will learn her lesson. She had been driving with a suspended lisence 2 times! and i bet the first tiume she think she can always get away and not care but no, this this i believe we can't let her go. I no she's a celebrity and she's very pretty but that is a how new topic. Even if she's popular, that doesn't make her not go to jail for doing what she did wrong. Jail time Paris! I'm sure your learn ur own lesson after this!

The sentence was not too serious, or as serious as her mother and lawyer made it out to be.

In addition to the tickets she got she was disrespectful to the court by being late. The judge therefore decided that this was a breach of public trust.

Now since the jails in Los Angeles are over crowded she might be only required to serve a few days in jail. On any given week you are released based on the number of inmates that might arrive in the coming week.

This is not because of who she is, but based on the cell space that will be available for in-coming prisoners.

I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.

It was not harsh, it was statutory. She broke the terms of her parole. She should not get a pass just because she's a celebrity, especially since in California, rich people can pay for their jail accommodations which, although not exactly luxurious, are liveable and away from the general population.

I really think she is getting waht she deserves. If a regular american citizen did what she did we would get a similar punishment. I dont think she will end up doing her sentance, I think she will pay her way out of it. I do hope though that maybe she will do her time. Its not fair for the rich to be above the laws.

Not harsh at all the prissy brat could maybe learn something from 45 days in jail. It's about time celebs got the same treatment as regular folks hats off to the judge.

It's in California, they'll let her go.They let murderers go all the time. She deserves a year in prison for violating probation like everybody else gets.

I think she should do the full time. Anyone else in the situation less the money and fame, would not have anyone think twice about making them do the full sentence.

Martha Stewart did her time, so Paris may too but maybe community service might be better in her case
