There are so many cool names for baseball player. Here is a brief list and I am sure I am missing many.

Cookie Rojas------Royals 70's
Tug McGraw-------Phillies 70's
Homer Bush-------Yankees 90's
Mookie Wilson----Blue Jays 80's
Bubba Trammel---Tigers 80's

Not sure if I got all of the teams correct, it has been years since I have looked at my baseball cards or since they have played.....lol

Archi Cianfrocco. Pronounced ar-kee she-an-frock-ko. It just rolllllllllls off the tongue.

I so wanted Eric Stuckenschnieder to make the big leagues... alas, no.

EDIT: I just had to add Arquimedez Pozo.

And, while I prefer to avoid nicknames, there was this one guy who never got above AAA, not even sure of his actual given name: Chip Glass.

1980s Royals - Steve Balboni! Awesome name!

My favorite player name today - Coco Crisp, excellent center fielder, not a bad cereal either.
