There's probably been more than I even realize. These weren't out of this world like coming back to life or anything. Just situations where I was lucky and things were going my way so I stayed out of harms way, had to be miraculously sometimes. One I'm thinking of is once I was driving in San Francisco with my mother (of all people) and it was so congested and I was unfamiliar with the roads and I didn't know the signals were on the side of the road. I drove right through a red light on a extremely busy street and miraculously I wasn't hit by cross traffic. Thank God! I still feel so embarrassed to this day that my mother was in the car. Another time I had brain surgery to remove part of my brain and I felt like I was scraping the bottom of the bucket. Somehow I managed to rise but I feel I came close to death. My doctor told me when I was recovering afterwards, "You are a survivor." This statement helped give me strength to pull out of the depth of lowness I was experiencing.

When I was 4 and swallowed poison. It has forever changed me. Life is precious. I'm only human like you and everyone else, but it definitely gives you a different perspective on life, and makes you realize that NOTHING is that bad in life. There is good in everyone of every faith. Heaven is a wonderful place that is indescribable in the written language. I can remember looking up at heaven then looking down at my loved ones, and thinking to myself that if they only knew how beautiful it was they wouldn't want me to come back. Still gives me goose bumps to think about it. I'm not afraid of dying and while I'm on Earth, I'll do the best I can to make the world a better place. God bless.... :o)

While driving to my parents one winter night, I was involved in a massive multi vehicle pile up that occurred on an ice covered bridge on an interstate. One of the vehicles involved contained a young girl who had been hit head on by a large SUV. I went to attend to the girl who was semi conscious. My emergency training kicked in and I kept her as still as possible until Paramedics arrived. While busy with her I heard loud screaming from the other drivers who were standing along the road. They were telling me to "get out of the way" and run. I looked up at the top of the overpass and there coming straight towards me was a semi tractor trailer. Its headlights were literally on both sides of me. At that moment a feeling came over me that I will never forget. With this semi coming right at me a deep feeling of peace and acceptance washed over me. I had not felt so calm in my life. I knew that I was about to die, but that it was going to be fine. There were no feelings of panic or fear. Only calm. I jumped into the injured girls vehicle and covered her with my body. I told her to hang on we were going to get hit. Suddenly, the semi driver straightened out his wheels and slid right past us and down the bridge. Also, at the accident scene I had an encounter with a guardian angel. Not sure if it was mine or the girl's but I now know that angels do exist and that death is nothing to fear.

No, I haven't personally, but my mother told me that she did. I remember the time quite clearly. We were kids and my cousin from another city had come to stay. She and my brother never seemed to get along and they were arguing and fighting. Mum was in bed with a bad cold. She does that when she's sick, just goes to bed till she feels better. Anyway, she had asked me to call our minister to come and anoint her and ask to be healed.
He arrived and went into Mum's room and he took one look at her and his face went white. He thought she was dead!
Mum told me later what she felt. She said that she didn't want to be in that body anymore and she went up to the ceiling and watched from up there, she was comfortable up there. She saw the minister come in and saw the look on his face and thought, "I need to talk to him, but I don't want to go back to that body where I feel bad. I feel good up here. But he looks scared, so I better go back down." And as she did that she opened her eyes. This must have happened in a split second. I was in the room too and had started to get worried. So when I saw her open her eyes I was really relieved. She also told me that she could hear my brother and cousin fighting but she thought it was nothing to do with her. She got well soon after that.
I believe she did die, but she needed to talk to the minister and thought better of it.

Yes, when I was 3 or 4 years old. I was convinced for a long time thereafter, but now I think I must have dreamed it.
