I have a very close friend that I chat to daily and txt during the day when we don't see each other. Usually I reply to txt messages within minutes of receiving them, though sometimes it has been a few hours at most. Now last night I sent a txt saying that I was off out, as my head was fried with a lot of things that have been going on over the past few days, and I was going to a place I find remote but relaxing.
The problem is this place doesn't have a good mobile reception, and prob didn't help that I moved on from my usual haunt to somewhere even further afield. Well I missed a txt last night and also a couple this morning, so my friend was extremly worried that something had happened to me.
Then late on this morning, I received the txts and made a very quick and short reply, not really giving much of an explanation..

My friend is extremely upset and no matter wot I say doesn't seem enough...

How can I show I am really sorry??

wow. it would help to know the age and sex of you and this person but I'll do my best.
if words don't seem like enough than don't use them. send something to your friend's address like flowers (if its a girl) or...well something guys like if its a guy (I'm just a girl i dunno what they want??) attach a note to it saying how much that friend means to you. and how much you miss him/her.

if THAT doesn't work just give your friend some time to cool off. if you are really that close he/she will miss you and accept your apology. great friends cant stay mad at each other forever i really hope everything comes out fine!!

By what I gathered from this question:

Tell your friend that you needed to get your thoughts together and with you to do so you must find a quite place to think. I think everyone can under stand that. Tell your friend that you are sorry that you left without them knowing and that next time you will tell them. But you can not change what you have done just what you will do in your future for you have learned not to go to get your thoughts together without them knowing for you value their friendship.
I myself like to get away and before doing so I tell the people close to me that I will be unable to be reached and when I can be agian I will call. I know the feeling of having a overload just some people handle it different.
Keep your head up your friend will not be mad for long.

You've already said it. Leave it a short while & if theyre a real friend they will come round. They must be made aware when you're preoccupied with other things. The whole world doesnt revolve around them.
You have been taken a little for granted if you feel you must text back immediately. Friendship isnt like that. Your friend sounds a little obsessive. If you really want to make it up with them, leave it a short while & approach them again.

CALL and tell your friend everything. except where this remote place is, because then it won't be so relaxing!!
make sure your friend knows it wasn't anything personal, you just had a lot on your mind and needed some alone time. don't forget to say you didn't get the messages till way later either!! then ask if your friend wants to hang out! if it still doesn't help give your friend some time to get over it.
although if your friend needs time to get over something as silly as this...this isn't the only problem and ya'll need to talk.

Clearly your friend has anger management issues and needs to go calm down. Its wonderful that they are worried for you, but u are perfectly entitled to not answer every single text message. If she is being that ridiculous about the whole thing just tell her this:

Thanks for being worried for me, but I am fine, and was not able to reply to your texts. I will try to answer you from now on, but there are going to be times when I am busy, or tired, and dont want to talk, and you need to get a life, and understand that I have a life other than you.

Hmm.. Most probably your friend is upset coz they were really concerned and maybe even scared about you.
Apart from that there really isnt much to be angry about. I mean we all have been there when it comes to poor reception.
You told them the truth, start with your texting routine and act normal after the situation has been explained from your side. It shall pass..
Cheers!

Sorry to assert this yet, he isnt that kinda guy that merits a undeniable or solid woman such as you. Hes completely finding for bitches. Cuz whos different than bitches that hug a boy and without a reason? i think of u ought to circulate on. yet on a similar time, while he hugs(if he did) merely tell him what you sense precisely! And approximately that hes a playboy, u could substitute him if he incredibly enjoyed you :).. so circulate away HIM OR WAIT ;)

Talk to them in person if possible by voice if not. Tell them what you said here. If that doesn't suffice then just say sorry. It wasn't a great offense and friends should give the benefit of doubt.

I dont think she has the concept of forgive and forget. Ok we are humans and we make mistakes. I guess she doesnt think your human since you made a mistake. If she made a mistake would you treat her the same way she treated you.Start looking for a new real friend.

All you can do is explain that you needed some space and were out of range and that you truly are sorry and want to keep the friendship. If she is your friend, tell her this...ask for forgiveness and she should forgive you.
Hopefully she is your friend.

be cool...
