I think he is interested in me, but I know he won't say it first. What exactly should I say?

Ask him to come around and fix something in your house. Asking him that is a little less threatening than just coming straight out and saying it......especially if you are shy. When he fixes the little something, then ask him if he would like a coffee.....he will probably say yes because its the least you can do after he came to fix whatever was broken....is your shower leaking...maybe it needs a new washer....think of something....be inventive.

Then when he is feeling a bit more relaxed and having coffee with you maybe you can say something like....this was fun....I enjoy your company....lets do it again. See how he reacts, if he is keen, then you know you were right. If he isnt, then at least you have gone about it in the least embarrassing way if you find he really is not interested.

Good luck

How about "I really enjoy spending time with you"? It's a great way to make a guy feel good and if it is true, it will help establish where the relationship is headed. You are saying that you are interested in him, without somehow using those words that drive a guy nuts. Just be honest and show that you like him. It'll all work. Just don't drown him in your feelings, guys aren't into that.

Be honest:
Tell him " if you are interested in me, I am, so when are you going to ask me out?'
