No, it's because of the crappy entries you've been sending in recent years. You can do so much better than this.

You had one of the worst songs this year and often in recent years it's been like that. I've heard a lot of people talk about how crappy the UK entry this year was and I share the opinion. Iraq didn't even come to mind regarding the Eurovision.

If you want the most likely reasons why the UK is doing so badly in the Eurovision in recent years, then I'd say:

1. The entries have been too crappy to deserve more. They lack all ambition.

2. People are annoyed with the elite status of the UK, France, Spain and Germany. They usually have the worst songs and still automatically go straight to the finals every year. Some people protest this by not voting them.

3. There are not enough Brits abroad to vote for the UK entry. This is a big factor. It's not a coincidence that Turkey always gets 12 points from Germany, Russia always gets 12 points from Latvia etc. It's about emigrants voting for their country abroad.

4. With East-Europe taking over, a different style of music seems to be more popular in the Eurovision now. Perhaps you should send a Balkan-style song. It might land you closer to the top of the score-board.

5. Others reasons, such as opposition to the war in Iraq or other politics.

I really don't think the last point has much to do with it. There are probably some people who wouldn't vote the UK entry for this reason, but I don't think they are many.

the united kingdom has tried all styles of songs and singers, ballads, upbeat, rap songs , at the instant the different international places hear each and all the songs nicely in improve so as that they have got made their minds up long till now the competition , no united kingdom singer desires to be interior the competition, its the kiss of loss of life, in any case it is the BBC who p.c.. the singer and the song, the united kingdom public have no say, on condition that an excellent form of those ex eastern block international places have joined all of them vote for another & i've got faith the song that won has been released a on an identical time as in the past and already been a success, individually i don't think of it does something to assist the song industry

because all the eastern european countries vote for their neighbours, it has always been so.

The only thing that makes it still worth watching is Terry Wogan's sense of humour!

Yes there's always block voting but the fact that we always send horrible entries doesn't help us at all.
