I used to get told off for daydreaming all the time when I was at school.
The only thing I could suggest is make sure you go to bed early & get a good nights sleep & make sure you have breakfast before school even if you don't feel like it because it'll start you off right for the day, also ask your mum to get you some omega 3 tablets, they're essential fats that we need to help concentration :0)
*edit Who are the fools or should I say fool who gives thumbs down to people answers when they are trying to help someone, get a life!

If it is boring to you tell your teachers and parents this, ask them if you could have special permission to get up and take a walk maybe, if you are behind and don't know the stuff ask for extra help from them, they are there to teach you not to tell you to take a pill, this is up to you. You can do it if you want to try to get enough sleep each night and do your school work when the teachers ask you to do it. Try to tell your parents what might work better for you and see if they can adjust to this or get the school to adjust to this in some way. You are there to learn and it is their jobs to help you with this.
No teacher has the right to tell a child to get tested or to take drugs for an illness that does not actually exist since there is no real scientific evidence for it. Teachers can be really lazy in their approach to teaching children that are different and learn differently. With 30-50 or so kids in a class I can understand this, but must say that I find it sorry of them not to do all that they can to try to find undrugged answers to this stuff rather then possibly suggesting some real brain or other body organ damage for these children. One in this society could not pick up a stick and give a child brain damage to control them. There are drug free alternatives to all of these behaviors and they work. To suggest otherwise is wrong!

I have the same problem and I am a teacher. Meetings kill me. I would take notes...I find I listen better when I am writing. I also write my lesson plans during faculty meetings to help me to listen better.
If you are finding this is happening often and it sounds like it does, let someone know. You could have A.D.D. Do you also have issues with getting tasks completed? Forgetting what you are doing and moving to something else? Procrastination? These are all signs. Talk to your parents, school counselor or nurse. OK???

You might have attention deficit disorder. It is harder to diagnosis in girls as in boys.
I personally have ADD but when I was young there wasn't a diagnosis. Now I uderstand why I lacked concentration and didn't do well in school
When I got to college I wanted to be a nurse. SO, I worked twice as hard as anyone else to get through college. It was worth it.
Also you will learn ways to keep yourself focused.
Ask your teacher or your parents if you can get tested

:) , I'm like you , i was like this in school and college and till today in my work.
I always think about many things and when i try to focus i found myself again thinking .
I can tell you this , try to write what you are listening , this way is the best for getting focus. or try to write notes each 3 min .
Wish you luck
