i am doing a persuasive speech on this topic for my class. i want your feedback and your oppinions on this please. also tell me why you like or dislike President George W. Bush.

I like Pres. Bush. He has taken in whatever information was available and listened to all sides. He then takes a knee and prays -- meaning he has faith and conviction. He is not interested in popularity polls, he does what he believes is right ad ultimately what is best for our nation and the world as a whole. The last president who embodied these same characteristics, was a democrat without a college education. He was hated by the masses, but in time, history has smiled favorably upon that man. His name? Harry Truman. And prior to him, was Abraham Lincoln. He too was extremely hated but did what he knew was right.

I like President Bush, but I think he's a little too nice and straightforward. Very predictable too in that he does everything he promised to do in his campaign. He's so honest it throws people off balance.
I think I'd like to see a president like one of the Clintons, someone who can shake someone's hand and stab him in the back at the same time. A true Machiavellian Prince (or Princess in Hillary's case).

Democrat. In fact, a Yellow Dog Democrat. Anyone who isn't in the top 1% of the country in earnings, and is a Republican, is, in my opinion, an idiot.
The current crop of Republicans are not conservative. In fact they couldn't be further from it. Our current national debt amounts to nearly $30,000 for every man, woman and child in the U.S. We were paying that amount down under Clinton.
I truly believe that Bush will go down in history as the worst President to date. The American people and the Iraqi people both want to get out, and he refuses.

Bush is a strong leader that does what he thinks is right regardless of the polls.
Compare Bush to Clinton. Clinton read opinion polls to damn much. That's how he decided things. That's not leadership.
