Why can't you just say "Leave me alone until I'm ready to talk?"

It has to do with the way they were raised ... some guys were raised with the idea that they needed to be able to read the subtle clues that women leave for men. Other guys were raised in a family where people actually just came out and said what they wanted and what they wished to communicate.

I have one question, however, why is it that women EXPECT a guy to know what they are thinking? Why can't women just come out, honestly, and say what is on their minds?

In my experience it can also go the other way, where it's the guy who sidesteps and avoids and won't be direct. It's incredibly frustrating and annoying. I can say I've been on both sides of this issue, and the times I was indirect were only when I didn't trust a guy enough to let him know the whole deal, or if he was very sensitive where anything I'd say would upset him.

I don't know, I get stuck with all the ones that don't get it, and for the above question, Its got to do with, um, like the question said, "You should know what you did" for one thing and the other in my personal case is that I just get pissed and don't really want anything to do with that person for the time being.....like a "leave me alone till I'm damn ready to talk"
