Well, no, you wouldn't want to go out with a cod.

But if you can ever acquire some, FRESH, then pretty much however you cook it (best is to stick a stick through it, place the stick in the sand - right next-to the big fire on the beach) then the Noble Cod (believe me) is one of the World's delicacies.

Just tap it with your fish-knife, then you should see it collapse, like a 'row' (sic) of cards. Then you will know the beauty of the Noble Cod:

Creamy / melt-in-your-mouth, bursting with flavor.

(PS: cod doesn't freeze! Granted, it is still nice, frozen, if cooked exceedingly carefully, but still not the exquisite delicacy that, fresh, it provides.)
