Why do some men eat their own seamen? I can't why or how they could actually try it in the first place.

Not normal but harmless. Some people think they can drink it to get extra testosterone, when in fact there is very little if any in it. So no benefits, but not harmful.

if it was seamen, it would be considered cannibalism as seamen are part of most navies..
If you're talking bout semen however. Some guys just like it. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just an individual decision.

Most guys will try anything at least once. That's why so many guys do stupid things that get them killed or injured. Eating one's own semen is not dangerous in any way, however; some guys probably do it just to see what it tastes like. Others believe that it may contain testerone, so drinking their own semen keeps them from losing tetesterone. Not true, but some guys think that. As to how they try it-quite easy, catch it in a cup and slurp it down.

Well, I've never shot a load into a cup and drank it. However, there have been countless times that I have licked my woman to orgasm after I had filled her, what the hell, its my own juice.
