Im in high school too and we just finished World War I. I suggest replicating the Battle of the Marne. It was the beginning of trench warfare in WWI that took place on Germany's western front (France vs. Germany)

Like Kira said, the Battle of the Marne (Both 1st and 2nd battles) would be good to do. You'd have to find some way of replicating trench systems/no man's land though. If you have some authentic looking WWI tanks you should look into the Battle of the Somme (British vs Germans), one of the bloodiest WWI battles and the first battle to feature tanks. The battle of Belleau Wood would also be nice, since the battle was in close proximity to Paris and was one of the major battles fought by the American Expeditionary Force in the later stages of the war.

Get dirt from outside and built two trenches on the opposite end of the box. Use twisted hangers for barb wire. And place dead soldiers in the middle of the box. The middle between the warring trenches was called "No Man's Land" during WWI. The battle is Le Chemin des Dames in the Picardy region of France, north of Soisson.

I just returned from Europe (retired from the Army). The Battle of Verdun is worth looking into.
