what is running on your laptop now?
you should have a cd that came with the laptop that has all the drivers on it, if you have not got this cd, go to the manufactures web site support and download the drivers for your laptop, that way you will have all the driver updates,
save these updates to a cd, so that you will be able to use it to update windows drivers when you need too,

you should have gotten a cd that had the drivers on it, unless your reinstall cd was a total master, os and drivers, if not, type in the run command msinfo32 and you will get a list of all the hardware and software and then you can go to that site and download their copy of the proper drivers for your system.

The easiest thing to do would be to save the drivers on a memory stick.

There is freeware software (try www.tucows.com) that backs up drivers automatically. Transfer it to your USB and you're all set.
