Many of the far left in this country, not the thinking and moderate Democrats, but the lunatic left such as Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi and MoveOn.Org seem to think that that we can negotiate with these Islamic extremists.

Do they not understand that they have been killing each other and all “infidels” for thousands of years? Do they not understand that they have only in the last few decades benefited from enough technology to bring the fight to others outside of the Middle East?

Do they not understand that their mantra is to kill all infidels, bring about Armageddon so that their “God” will return and push the Jews into the sea and rule the world under Islamic law?

Do they not understand that these people want to do this so that they can go to heaven and get 72 virgins?

Seriously… how can you negotiate with that type of mind set and belief?

Do they really think that if we just lay down our arms these Islamic extremists will not try to crush us and the world?????

you make several good points, especially that these people have never gotten along since the beginning of time. about the only good negotiating with these zealots will get you is that you might get beheaded last! and dont count on it....

george soros is also dangerous to the united states in that he wants to make the US into a communist nation with him and his money at the helm. the nut job left are so beholden to him, they dont even realize the danger they are in.

so, in answer to your question, they are engaging in a dance of death. death being the only option if you are not a believer of allah.

You can't negotiate with people who's starting point is your annihilation. That's the basic problem the far left has, they think they can just talk to these people like they were a truculent five year old who won't put his toys away. This is for real and all the marbles and if the far left don't come to realize this we are all in trouble.

Definitely fatal embrace. Unfortunately, even many moderates think negotiotion is possible. James Baker comes to mind. Israel is being constantly pressed to negotiate with & make concessions to their Arab enemies. I wish I knew what it would take to wake up the civilized world to just who & what these people are.

I haven't heard a calls for negotiating with terrorist. Seeking to include terror-sponsoring states like Syrria and Iran in talks about Iraq, yes, but not actually sitting down across the table from Hamas or Al Qaeda and making terms with them.

I agree, there is no negotiating with terrorists,

So why not become more isolationist, close our borders, secure them tightly, and inspect with a fine toothed comb everything which comes into our ports?

...instead of going on missions of 'world policing' which will only create further problems and future disgruntled Muslims?
