Motherhood
(From The Baby's Perspective)

I left Heaven and went swimming,
In the depths of another soul.
I was wrapped within my own little world,
with no understanding of what would unfold.
I was concieved out of Love,
And Lovely was the voice she spoke with.
Eventhough I was in the womb,
Her voice was like a kiss, no,
A song, no
I have no words.
Yet it was like being on a lake in the morning,
And waking to the call of one bird.
Not just any bird,
But one of splendor and of grace.
And before I could finish the dream,
The water was gone,
I took a breath,
And I saw your Beautiful face.

And I've loved you ever since.
With every part of me that's apart of YOU!

Happy Mother's Day, Ma.
Welcome to Motherhood.

blondesweetsassy, my heart goes out to you. I too have lost someone dear to me at birth. My first two Grandchildren were stillborn. I take comfort in knowing they are around God's Throne at this very moment and forever. Your Son is there also. God Bless You With A Special Mother's Day!

That is a very precious and wonderful poem to share. Thank you so much for sharing this, as I lost my son to SIDS when he was 27 days old. I never got to spend a mother's day with him, or hear him say I love you. You said it for him, thank you. I never thought of what it was like for him, and this gave me an all new blessed way to see.
What a sweet and generous person you are semprefidelis.
I know that your mother is so proud of you.
God Bless You!

You should've warned me to get out the Kleenex. That was so beautiful. Who wrote it? If it was you, I think you have a career ahead of you. I'm 4 months along with my first. Maybe that's why I'm so emotional. No, I think I would've cried no matter what. Thanks for passing that on.

You can say it and thank you. After so much negativity on here, it is nice to see something positive. Thanks, from a mother and mother to be.
