have all of you heard of betta fish?well that is the kind of fish i have they are both female's and are baby's ...i am not feeding them because i over fed them i have three fish in my house.but the third fish is in a different bowl ...

You haven't mentioned what kind of fish. With a lot of fish, this is mating behaviour...and in answer to your question, mating is when they're trying to have babies.
In some fish, though, like zebra danios, tiger barbs, etc, following is a schooling instinct. Fish that are considered "schooling fish" follow each other as it is ingrained in them that there is safety in numbers.

They might be ready to mate. Mating means when a male gets together with a female and lays eggs or live birth. Basically, having baby fish. Either that or they're just playing with each other.

It depends on what kind of fish you have, but many aquarium fish like to live in groups and normally follow each other around a lot.

Mate means-sex

THe female betta's can breed together. I think they are being aggresive to each other.

Well they are baby's so they probably can't mate anyway one might want to scare the other one or they are just playing

Either one of them wants to mate with the other, or they have already chosen to mate with each other. Or they have already mated and one is still interested in the other.

No, they arnt mating and mabye they just want to be toghter or are warnining each other mine got in a fight before
