artist cry freedom of speech because they may feel like there being told what to say or not to say. they want to get there voice heard cause they got something to say. music has power. so they feel powerful. but most, but not all, new rap, rock, r-n-b, and other artist use there power poorly I think. they don't teach. they dont lead, they don't stand as examples, they just spew junk cause young people like there noise. I believe they do have power but I wonder why they don't use ther voice to improve the young culture they claim to be aport of that is so painful. lead your youth culture to improve life, live and love and respect each other and show the world from your higher place that it can be done..... because we already know how bad things are in the world it would be nice to know that young people may be able to improve life for there kids and grand kids. use your powers wisely you are the super hero's of tomarrow.....

As a majpr songwriter and a person going through high school I know exactly what you mean. There's a lot of songs that glorify basically everything that goes against the grain, everything that shouldn't be glamorized yet it still is.
The main answer that we have to this is to basically stop the influences. We can start by bringing around dramatic changes to MTV and the crap that it spews out and as a leader of the MTV reformation movement I know exactly how we can do this. Plans are already in place but we must keep them secret for now; it's going to be a suprise but it'll be big.
After we have MTV out of the way we can then focus on other trend setters like fashion models and other people who work in marketing. If you look at any copy of magazines like "Glamour", "Seventeen" or any other teen/young-adult marketed media you'll see what's there and it's horrible. Media like that was simply born to demoralize the population into thinking that they're not the best and that they could be better. Getting rid of front page blurbs like "100 New Ways to Match Your Wardrobe", "Get Your Best Butt" and "How to Lose 15 Pounds in 3 Weeks" will help tremendously with the problems of society and pop culture.
Once we have those out of the way we'd then need to focus on other television starting with the Disney channel. Of COURSE everyone who watches the Disney channel wants to be force-fed Hannah Montana and sexual innuendo. A lot of the people who watch shows like that are young, sometimes they're not even in middle school for the most part when it's really the older kids who are in middle school who should be watching things like that. Then we can switch the effort to Nickelodean since they also contribute to the problem and then go on to other television stations as well.
That would take care of things for the most part but it's just as they say "Monkey see, monkey do." The rate of that is faster than the actual progress of aging now so you have younger and younger people getting into things that used to be for older people. Finding how to reverse this trend will be the key to success if we wish to have a reliable generation to look forward to in bringing up the future.

Whelp im in a band and being the singer and gutairist of my band it feels great 2 get ur emotions out by singing and hearing other people singing ur song! Playing the gutair is like playing the notes to the beat of my heart. Music is my passion. I play rock but i love all types of music except country, i only like like 2 or 3 songs in that catergory. When u turn the music up its becuz u love the song and it makes u feel full of energy. U just want 2 get up and dance and sing. Music is a dance floor made 4 u 2 party in ur life. ITS AWESOME

I agree. Since I am in middle school (Junior High...) I know excatly what you are talking about. Most music is now about sex. And I know for a fact that many people my age are already doing drugs. Its horrible, and I could list millions of songs that caused this.

Most of you "men and women" have definitely under no circumstances noticeable the Mexican ladies that reside in Mexico dont be jealous and thumbs me down however the ones ladies are a lot warmer than the women from USA
