I'm 57 & I've been playing guitar since I was 11 and I'm self taught. So: Find a basic tutor book. One that will give you chord shapes, tuning & some simple songs. Take 2 simple chords like D & A. Practise playing those 2. It will hurt your fingers at first, but they will toughen up. Easy songs; He's got the whole world in his hands; Daddy's taking us to the zoo tomorrow. Guitar tuning form highest string: EBGDAE

I've been gambling for a 12 months now, and will normally do the whole lot that's had to play. I've certainly not had a teach, I'm self taught. My recommendation to you could be to only fiddle with it in the beginning, be ingenious. Then transfer directly to finding out guitar tab, that'll aid you study songs a complete lot simpler. After that transfer directly to finding out to learn chord fingering. Remember youtube is your buddy, helped me out plenty! I would not suggest looking to study all of this in a single month, do like I did, take it gradual. Spread all of those out over the direction of a 12 months, do not transfer directly to whatever else till you completely appreciate it. Another factor is to place a few feeling or emotion into it even as you are gambling, it is going to make your tune have a strong final result in your viewers. The greatest tip I can deliver is do not quit I'm certain you can make a best guitar participant in time, it'll get irritating however train makes best. I'm thirteen and will play, I'm certain you can be in a position to as good! Keep on rocking, Jake
