Road Rage incidents are at an all-time high. It's good that you feel bad for cutting someone off by accident but don't let it get to you, we are only human.
One suggestion that might work for you in the future is to carry a sign in your car that reads "SORRY".
If you are in a similar situation showing a sign like that may very well defuse an otherwise bad occurrence. The sign acts sort of like an ice breaker. The normal response when someone shows the "SORRY" sign is a smile from the otherwise offended person. Hope this helps!

It was exactly what you said - an ACCIDENT, it is not like you intentionally tried to cause and accident. Be thankful you DIDNT cause and accident and try and move on and get over it. Learn from the experience and let it be a reminder that you always need to be cautious when driving. A lady cut me off one time and ran me off the road so I confronted her about it and she honestly had no clue that she almost caused an accident and to make matters worse, she had been talking on her cell when she did it! Me confronting her made ME feel better and I'm sure she'll look twice before changing lanes next time! I chose to confront her instead of report her as I myself would have rather someone did that for me then call the police and report me. So, let it go as a lesson-learned and be careful from now on, cuz now you know how quick and easily accidents can happen...

Tomorrow you will feel better and better than that the next day. Now days, you have to be careful, with all the road rage, your lucky the only thing you got was the bird. Someone else might have pulled a gun and placed a few slugs in the side window. It's a crazy world, out there, try and be more careful, but one good thing, you know you screwed up and are willing to admit it. It will make you a better driver, since you will learn by your mistakes. good luck

its life mistakes happen
be more careful next time

look out for the other guy

you should feel bad yet don't let it take control over your life
as I am sure the other guy isn't even thinking about it now.

so calm down and relax in the fact no one was hurt

live n learn

Yea me too.
I always feel bad when I don't see someone or the like.
I find the best way to deflate the situation is to mouth the word "SORRY" when they can see you, they are still angry but appreciate you may have made a mistake.
