Is it true that if you remember the Sixties, you weren't there?

LOL, never heard it put quite like that before. good one. have a star! i was born in 51, but i have been straight and law abiding from birth, so i remember the 60s, and i was there. but i may well be the exception that proves the rule, lol.

I was in grade school in the sixties. I remember it very well. I remember hating the Vietnam War because they always interrupted my favorite cartoons to give war updates.

I remember my dad waking my brother and me up at 5 AM to watch the "space shots" as we called them.

I don't remember the seventies, though. I was a teenager and stoned all the time.

I remember the sixties well because I wasn't a doper. In spite of the war raging in Viet Nam, it was a happy time for me, just starting out into young adulthood.

i was just but then i was born in 67 i remember silly things watching the trains at the bottom of the garden they closed the railway in 69 so i would have been under 2

I've heard the expression, and I think it was drug-related bragging, but I'm a child of the '60s and I do remember it, and no, I didn't do drugs.
