Check out this link to Paper Crafts Magazine. They've posted 13 Free Mother's Day projects. I hope you have the supplies. I improvise when I don't have exactly what they list.

Get a large bowl (Paint it or decorate it). Put a shallow layer of gravel in the bottom. Fill it up the rest of the way with soil. Add a little Ivy or some other type of easy to root plant.
