Give your pug their food and them dig food . Disconnect the phone so they don't call child services.

Oh it truly is amazing how many people feed their kid cereal coated with 12 kinds of sugar for breakfast, then a frozen pizza coated in preservatives for lunch and wonder why they are so cranky in the afternoon. I think a lot of the behavior problems in kids can be traced to their diet. Of course I believe that ADD is real, but I also believe that problems with their diet can lead to the same symptoms. I can't believe how many people move right to medication when they can't teach their child to try new foods. They don't bother trying to make it a fun experience. They just use a take it or sit in the corner approach. I have actually babysat children who said "what is that?" when they saw food that wasn't maccaroni and cheese or a frozen pizza. I've seen the pickiest eaters just love food they didn't know the name of before we made it. I can understand why someone would be concerned that a vegetarian isn't getting enough nutrition, but really, from someone who thinks chicken nuggets are ok for every meal? EDIT: Oh I do want to add that while I don't agree with it for every meal, it's probably fine once in a while. Also, being a stay at home mom has nothing to do with it. It doesn't mean she has time to cook all day every day. A stay at home mom doesn't actually have all the time in the world like some people would love to believe. I do stand by my theory that the worse the diet, the worse the behavior, but if it's not a constant, neither is the behavior issue.

Make them go without. If that's not an option, check the highways for some fresh road kill. Racoon casserole can get the point across to always behave, and do what mom says to do. Or a good old fashioned Opossum pie.

LOL you cant use food as a punishment...if you do this to them at a young age when they get older they are going to run to food to hide their emotional scars lol and they will become over-weight and blame YOU lol. I say give them a good dinner like always and just limit their tv/computer time or something.

Get your favorite take out. Why should you have to cook after a dealing with cooking and dealing with a funky attitudes all day. Put them to bed early, get you a glass, and read a book or watch a movie that you want to see.
