i feel sachin's day has not over yet. Still he has lots to play and deliver. If any player is not performing for some time then it doesn't mean we shud start looking for other but we shud give some time to that player. In case of sachin, he has more than 300 ODI exp more than 20000 international runs. U can't say that player doesn't have capability any more. If he was on top of cricketing career for more than 10 yrs, it shows how he can analyse his capability and how well he can utilise it. Time will come when he will realise that he can't deliver then we won't have to discuss but he will take retirement by himself.
Winning against Bangaladesh doesn't give any replacement for Sachin. No one has consistancy wat sachin had shown in past.

If Sachin is fit to carry on, he must continue playing. Same with Saurav. India's victory in the recent One Day Series in Bangladesh being played at Bangladesh hasn't proved that Sachin or Saurav is redundant. In fact the services of both these great veterans are needed against big guns like Australia or South Africa. Their experience is hardly necessary against minnows like Bangladesh.

He probably should ..but he wont!!
Sadly he seems unable to do the graceful thing and retire now, he will struggle on until he is eventually dumped..
Hope I'm proved wrong as a Tendulkar in full war cry would be wonderous to see again! Especially against us here in Aussie as it will make our forthcoming series win all the more enjoyable!! :)

What a humorous tale sachin has performed 7 innings the place as ponting 5 innings against Ban. Ponting has such undesirable avg bcoz because of the fact the full international is conscious punter cant play nicely on turning tracks and ban has some stable spinners interior the squad.

I do not think so. He will continue to play for some more time and will retire once he score some useful runs as any player will like to retire gracefully when he is in good touch and not when he is failing to perform.

no way... he's gotta go on a high note... and winning against Bangladesh isn't a high note.
India has so many games with Australia, if you expect him to retire anytime soon, it would be after a series win against Australia.
But I expect him to stick around at least a cupla more years.

No!
He walks, talks, eats, sleeps cricket.
Bats right, signs left, makes fortune.
Who will kill golden egg yielding goose?
After all, he is not B C Lara, his contemporary!
