i was about 15. my sister moved out so of course i begged for her bedroom even though i had nightmares about something trying to come through the door that connected our rooms. the room was larger and painted a deep blue.i got the room and it was great, during the daytime. at night it was a different story. i would have nightmares . one night i awoke scared and crying with a cold chill. i opened my eyes scared to see what could have awoken me and i saw her. She was kneeled at the end of the bed in a cloud of mist moving her arms as if to cast a spell.

what's frightening is the linked fee of history revision that's so blindly well-known by atheists. Any accusation against Christianity is immediately recognized by fact the certainty, no count how outrageous the declare is. The lies have been repeated so often that they've grow to be common-expertise, and that they are merely well-called actuality. indexed below are merely a number of them... a million. Jesus on no account existed. 2. Constantine created Christianity. 3. Christianity isn't an unique theory ~ it borrowed from countless pagan religions of the international. 4. The Bible is crammed with contradictions. It takes greater faith to have faith those issues than it does to have faith in Christ, and yet atheists have faith them wholeheartedly. How is it that people who declare to have this sort of organization draw close on logic, behave so irrationally?

Oh man! I read an article on Snopes.com once that I just couldn't shake! It went something like this:
A young college girl returns to her dorm room late at night and doesn't bother turning the lights on. She sinks straight into bed and falls fast asleep without changing clothes or anything she normally did. She was that tired. Then some weird noise wakes her and she sits up in bed, terrified. She lies back down and puts her hand down to where her dog always sleeps to get a reassuring lick from her little buddy. The next morning she wakes up and lays in bed thinking how silly she was to be so afraid. she swings her legs over the bed and goes to the bathroom to find the shock of her life, Her dog was hanging from the shower head, neck slit open. That was the noise she heard. The drip, drip, drip of her own dogs blood. She runs back to her bed to find a note where her hand was being licked. It read, "Humans can lick too!"
There are other variations too. It's really freaky!

oedipus rex-- first, when he's born, he's nailed to a rock for fear of a prophesy by a soothsayer, then, he grows up, kills his dad, marries his mom, and has four kids. Then, when he realizes he's been screwing his own mom for the last however many years, he uses his thumbs to gouge out his own eyes. Pretty twisted if you ask me.(but apparently most people suffer from an oedipal complex. It's reverse with girls, you know, wanting to kill their moms so they can bone their dads) I dont think I personally suffer from this, but freud would probably have you think otherwise.

When I was 10 years old my Grandma told me about a troll that lived under a bridge near her house. She said it would come out from under the bridge and chase people and could run as fast as a horse could run. That scared me to death!

Well, on my native island of Trinidad we have the beautiful La Diablesse. Her name in the French language means ''The Devil-woman; she is very seductive and is mostly seen at night on desolate roads. She would catch the eye of a man who proceeds to follow her un-able to resist her beauty, she leads him further and further into the forest where she kills him by draining his life essence. they usually find the victim a few days later mangled in the trees.
As a guy, it keeps me from hooking up with strange girls.

Not a legend, but true.
Islamic conquerors in Africa were very contemptuous of their conquered subjects, and when one tribe showed a superstitious fear of puddles after it rained, they showed their contempt by taking off their shoes and dancing in the puddles and insulting the natives.
Several weeks later grub worms grew in large numbers out of the flesh of their feet.
