Not by a long shot. If you include all of the Gundam series made, plus the movies and OVAs, Naruto would still be a few hundred episodes short of catching up and millions of dollars in revenue short. Think about this: In Japan, Gundam is still one of the most popular series to ever air even though it came out some twenty years ago. Naruto still hasn't even passed Dragon Ball in popularity, let alone Gundam. (And don't get me started on the popularity of Doraemon.) If you limit your question to only an American fan-base and not a global fan-base, then Naruto probably is more popular since it is the current "In" series right now and has a legion of fans who will claim it is the greatest anime to ever have been drawn. That is until the next big mass appeal anime comes out and people jump bandwagons to claim that "it" is the greatest thing to happen to humanity since sliced bread.

naruto is better than sd gundam
gundam wing, g gundam, gundam seed, and countless other are better than naruto, he is so annoying.

overall, you cannot compare naruto to gundam series.

Now this relies upon heavily on what age you're and your individual tastes in anime. once you're between the types that loves Powerpuff women and whatnot, this clearly does no longer be your cup of tea. The action and politics of those animes at the instant are not meant to be for the greater youthful generations. jap animations are meant to be person orientated cartoons, no longer for the greater youthful eyes. Now something else to undergo in ideas once you view American television is they dumb each and every thing down that comes from the East. whilst they arrive to the U. S., incredibly some the adulthood and interesting cloth gets ignored. it quite is the way of existence hollow and the FCC responsible for it. whilst they censor the anime, they bypass away the anime empty and unappealing so that they fill it in with kiddy issues (oftentimes some hokey "i like all and sundry" message jumbled in there with quite undesirable communicate). This makes any sequence boring and boring. in case you quite opt to furnish those animes it sluggish, you could see them of their unique types on youtube yet once you have already, merely wait and see and anticipate the subsequent anime hit. there is often a clean one. Naruto and Gundam should not be here perpetually.

In American, as far as I know, yes. But in Japan, that title goes to One Piece, which is more popular than Naruto as well.
